DJ BIOS PATRICK KELLY Known for his smooth mixes and long transitions, PK has had 2 of his mixes featured on Beatport after reaching number 1 on the Beatport DJ charts. His seamless mixing between Deep, Tribal, Tech House, and Breaks, has helped him manufacture a style all his own. PK finds his inspiration through challenging himself. Each set is unique unto itself, as is most of his mixes. Often what the dance floor hears for the first time, is what he hears for the first time. Patrick Kelly's notoriety has gained him regular spots working with the city's best promotion houses including Intimate, Blueprint, Leave Us Lost, and more recently teaming with Seattle’s highly acclaimed label Viva Recordings, and a residency at Vancouvers legendary Gorgomish. He has had the privilege to play alongside the likes Booka Shade, DJ T, The Crystal Method, Halo Vargas, Sunshine Jones, Djuma Soundsystem, Giom, Alex E, and Pillow Talk, to name just a few. On top of being a long time player in Vancouver's underground club and party scene, Patrick’s passion for higher quality music, events, and promoting music through local artists have lead him into promotions and event organizing. Most notable as a monthly host of Vancouver's longest running DJ nights in Open Dex, and as the Director and co-Founder of the Festivus Music Festival, an outdoor event that ran 15 years. DJ LEANNE The original 'GirlOnWax' DJ Leanne is proud to celebrate 3 decades of DJing House Music! Leanne spins House in many forms: Jackin to funky, dirty, (always bass- line friendly) to Deep & Vocal Tech House; her true passion! In 2023 she opened for some of her House Music heroes: DJ Sneak, DJ Heather & Derrick Carter. She had the honour of spinning at The Living Room stage at The Shambhala Music Festival (2022) and The Groove Cruise Miami (2020 & 2019). Over the course of her DJ career thus far, Leanne has spun opening sets for Kaskade, Mark Farina, Kenny Glasgow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boy George, Armand Van Helden, Roy Davis Jr & Miguel Migs, to name a few. She has held over 10 club residencies in Vancouver & Victoria including at The Lotus Sound Lounge, Shine, Celebrities Nightclub, Hush & Sonar Cabaret. In 2000 she created Western Canada's first DJ School 'The Rhythm Institute' where She taught 500+ students with her carefully curated 'DJ 101' curriculum at several DJ schools & workshops in the Lower Mainland including 'Table Tutors' & 'School of Mix'. Leanne began her DJ career with a degree in broadcasting and has produced & hosted the popular underground House Music radio shows “Fresh On Air” and 'GirlOnWax Radio' (2013-2017). You can catch her vocals on tracks by House Music producers Jay Tripwire, Buck & Taho + she's co-produces + sings vocals with Mostly Yoshi. DJ Leanne is currently the CEO of the critically acclaimed DJ company 'GirlOnWax Entertainment' where she manages talented DJs & Musicians with a mainly female roster. LOGIK A Victoria original, Logik has been DJing parties and clubs across the island since 1998! Known for his stalwart mixing and groove laden track selection his sets purvey a vibrant mix of Nu Disco, Funky House and soulful beats. Always one to keep the dance floor on their toes, he is known for digging the crates to find rare gems, inspired originals and fun remixes. Blending the old with the new, Logik’s sets take listeners on a fun filled journey through the ages of dance music everytime he steps behind the decks! SHAWNESSY Dj shawnessy is an OG in the underground dance music scene…with roots in Vancouver Island he has much to offer as a talented music selector and dj. He is often booked for his own style and blend of tech house, nudisco, bass and funky house spanning the last few decades. Introduced to a passion for electronic music as far back as 1994 he has honed his craft over the years to power up the dance floor and get the crowd moving. This is one talented Dj who is not to be missed.
