Event description
The Centre of the Universe, located at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Victoria, BC, hosts Saturday Star Parties during the summer months. These events, hosted by the Friends of the DAO, are free to attend and offer a variety of astronomy-related activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy presentations, tours of the Plaskett Dome and planetarium, and opportunities to view the night sky through telescopes provided by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) members, weather permitting
