REPAIR YOUR DAMAGED ITEM- “Basic Darning Workshop”
Date: Sunday, June 22th
Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM (2.5hrs)

Location: Little Fernwood (Gladstone Studio:backside of building)
For ages 12 and up | Wheelchair accessible
Join us for a hands-on darning workshop where you’ll learn three basic but beautiful versatile stitches;
• Blanket stitch
• Basket stitch
• Gomashio (dot-dot) stitch
What to Expect: Two instructors will guide you through each technique in a friendly and supportive setting.
Materials: Needle, threads and small fabrics are provided. Darning mushrooms and other tools are limited available.
You will bring: Electric bulb or soup ladle to use as a darning mushroom.
You’re welcome to bring your own items to mend—such as socks, cotton bags, shirts, or wool garments.
No item to darn? No problem—you can purchase a simple cotton bag at the workshop for $15.
Cancellations: Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours before the workshop.
