i-Land Fest is organized by the Vancouver Island Caribbean Hub , and is a vibrant celebration dedicated to bringing the rich traditions and lively spirit of Caribbean culture to Vancouver Island. Founded with a passion for sharing the unique and diverse heritage of the Caribbean community, the festival honours the traditions of Trinidad & Tobago’s Carnival, offering a lively and immersive cultural experience. “Our festival was born from a vision to create a space where Caribbean traditions could thrive and be celebrated, while also fostering a sense of belonging within the local community.” With a commitment to showcasing the colourful and dynamic elements of Caribbean culture, i-Land Fest has quickly become a key event on Vancouver Island’s cultural calendar. “Through music, dance, art, and cuisine, we aim to create an inclusive atmosphere that welcomes everyone to experience the vibrant rhythms and traditions of the Caribbean.” i-Land Fest not only serves as a platform for cultural expression but also contributes to the local economy and community, celebrating the rich heritage of the Caribbean and its impact on Vancouver Island.
