Esquimalt Pride Ride

Celebrate Esquimalt's LGBTQ2S+ community with this fun bike ride! Staying mostly on bike paths, this bike ride will take a 7-8 km loop around Esquimalt. Participants are encouraged to dress up in bright colours and decorate their bikes. There will be upbeat music provided by Victoria Bike Rave to motivate bike riders along the way. The bike ride will be guided by Esquimalt Recreation staff. After the bike ride, participants and the community are invited for a picnic at Memorial Park where they will have the option to purchase food from local food trucks, play lawn games, and make new friends! We're excited to be partnering with Cycling without Age Society who will be providing trishaws as an accessible option for participants . This is a free event, but please register to allow for better event organization. **Additional Notes** - Please wear a helmet! Bright colours and costumes are strongly encouraged. - Meet at Memorial Park at 5:30 pm ready to bike 7-8 kms - It is recommended that children be 12 years and older. Those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
